"Policing in America" is just another way of saying, how to retain the brutality of our slave past, legally.  Policing in America is taken from our British past, our slavery past all dressed up with gear in a uniform daring to say they "protect and serve". Black American's have known all along that police culture protects itself and serves the interest for White America.  For far too long, like forever, Black America has allowed this to happen. We have allowed fearful leadership to draw back for fear they meet the fate of our great leaders who did make a difference for us, Dr. King, Malcolm X and many others.  Today, we are left with the likes of Jesse Jackson, a man President Obama did not even embrace and Al Sharpton, the sold-out individual who seems to have been everywhere but, in my opinion, has done nothing.  We also have the likes of the fast-talking Michael Eric Dyson, with his melodic rhymes, saying absolutely nothing.

The manner of death of our Brother George Floyd helped this world to realize what Black people have experienced forever, a big black boot on our neck.  That boot, a disinterested public-school teacher who seems to find so much wrong with your child that intimate family members do not see.  That boot, your overeducated ass is forced to train an uneducated individual who is getting paid more than you.  That boot, you call the police over an issue and you get disrespected.  And we all know that boot of fear they wear that keeps you out of nice neighborhoods, even though you make more money and that keeps your schools inferior.  They need to make you weak with a "food desert" neighborhood boot and keep you fighting with the boot of a liquor store (not owned by you) on every corner and drugs (you don't bring in) on every street. And when you STAND UP. The THUG BOOT!!
