On tonight's episode I'm pleased to welcome Melissa Anderson to the program...

Melissa Anderson first discovered acupuncture as a patient in 2007.  As her chronic symptoms disappeared, she became more and more interested with the philosophy that the body heals itself when in balance.  She began to work for her practitioner, combining herbal prescriptions for patients and she began reading books and studying Chinese Medicine; eventually taking the leap from a full-time Chef, to a full-time student.  Melissa’s interest in Chinese Medicine stems from a deep desire to help change people’s lives, opening up awareness to infinite possibility and healing.

Melissa began her schooling at Emperor’s College in Santa Monica, Ca, and graduated from Daoist Traditions College of Chinese Medical Arts in Asheville, NC where she was fortunate to study with Master Jeffery Yuen, 88th generation Daoist Priest

Currently, Melissa is a nationally board certified (NCCAOM), and State of Michigan registered acupuncturist and Chinese herbalist. She has worked extensively with pain, digestive issues, complex auto-immune disorders, depression, anxiety, sleep issues, and much more.
