HANDCUFFS OFF EPISODE 17 - Grant Rogers
Rise Uniting People for Progress presents "Handcuffs Off", hosted by Jihad Siddiq, featuring segments by Juan K Rogers, Marcellus Morris, and Toni Brown.

Jihad Siddiq did 28 years in prison for murder before changing his life and becoming a productive, law abiding citizen, a mentor, youth advocate, Projects Manager for the Rise UP organization.

Today's interview is with Grant Rogers, a part of the Ablaze Ent team, who works with other organizations in Suffolk County such as Godschild Outreach Ministries and Spin the Yard.

He talks about his story and when he made the decision to addess his demons and make that last prison release be his last. He talks of how helping others has been key to him helping himself and staying on track.

Handcuffs Off is raw, riveting and honest.
It doesn't glorify or sensationalize incarceration, Jihad will be speaking candidly with folks who served over two decades in prison and have honest conversations on the effect of long term incarceration and how we can help folks avoid the trap of cycling in and out of the justice system.

If you want to know the truth, the secrets of navigating the criminal justice system and hear exclusive interviews of people who have beat the odds and are out in society helping to make a difference, listen to Handcuffs Off.
