In S3-E30 we'll discuss the August 14th premier of the documentary #SlaveState2022 held in Baton Rouge, LA and will be joined by some of those who were there for that historic event.
We've also got some powerful teaching to do about the state of Louisiana. Its historical to present connection to chattel slavery, convict leasing, and mass incarceration. Pattern recognition is a superpower.
We'll update you on the upcoming August 28th anniversary event for the Abolish Slavery National Network which will be held in Burlington Vermont, and spend some time in remembrance of the largest prison slave labor work strike in US history. The Millions For Prisoners Human Rights March on Washington, DC held on August 19th, 2017. A catalyst moment that changed everything.
