The sexual molestation and abuse of our children in our communities is real.  The psychological and physical effects are both staggering and lasting to the children that are left unprotected to predators.  But in truth, we aid and abet sexual predators by being silent and/or taking sides with them based on their social standing and/or fame.  People like R. Kelly have largely gotten a pass in our community, with some of us even going so far as to blame the girls he molested.  Kelly’s chestering of underage girls speaks to a larger problem of accepted behavior when people like Harvey Weinstein gets a slap on the wrist for the rapes of numerous Hollywood actresses who are now coming forward.  For Negro American Indians, this is a problem we need to get out in front of as soon as possible.  Join me and co-host Neicy Lashelle (The Mocha Masseuse) as we discuss in-depth.
