The Indigenous Chronicles

The Minqua were a tribe in the Welsh Mountains in the Pennsylvania Blue Ridge Appalachians.  They were part of the Conestoga (Sasquuehanna) Indians, and the Welsh Mountains was their territory.  Last week, guest Anita Wills gave us her Minqua family history, and hosts Anthony Colquitt and Janet Warmwind will have her expound on that history tonight.  Wills’ book, “Black Minqua: The Life and Times of Henry Green,” chronicles her Minqua family history.  563-999-3442 is the call-in number to the show.  Press 1 to join the conversation.  Tune in and let’s have a discussion.
