Topic: One story at a time
A conversation with a fascinating author and loving mother Annamaria Bazzi; we learn how Annamaria started writing children's stories that she used to read to her girls in the hope of teaching them to love reading. Her girls always enjoyed her stories, so much so that they asked her to read the stories during reading time at school. And so she did, once a week she went to read to the different classrooms her girls were in. As they girls grew, Annamaria's story grew also, changing from children to middle grade. She even wrote a novella with her second daughter, Amelia, who would get up extra early on saturday mornings to have one on one time to write. While writing for ya, she had several of her girls' friends read the work to get feedback. none would say no to me and so she changed some of these girls lives--from never reading, they began to love it.
