A Kind Voice on Books

Tonight’s guest is Dustin Fisher, who has written a book called Daddy Issues. The book is a funny, anecdotal account of the first year of Dustin's life with his new born daughter, Mabel. It's not necessarily about how to raise a child as much as it is about how a young, first-time father manages himself amidst all the pitfalls and road bumps anyone might face when trying to learn how to be a parent. Dustin is an author, a stand-up comedian, a story-teller, and runs his own blog that is all about being a stay-at-home father. His work has been published in the likes of the Huffington Post, the Good Men Project, and Baltimore Style magazine. According to Dustin, the minute his wife told him she was pregnant he made the scary decision to quit his job. So, in addition to the above mentioned past-times, Dustin is first and foremost the father of a healthy 2 year old daughter.
