Follow-up interview with Cathy Durant about her upcoming movie "Going Out a Champion," the Coach Joe Ellis Story. Cathy, the Producer-Director of the film, was a guest on the program a few weeks ago and we'll get an update on the status of the film's Indiegogo campaign as well as other exciting developments.
The film is an inspiring, sports, romantic, drama film based on a true story of Coach, Joe Ellis, who coached Surry County, VA, High School to it's first State Boys Basketball Championship and 8 weeks later he died of colon cancer. "Going Out a Champion" is a true story based on a novel written by Doris M. Ellis. Former NBA Player, Dominique Wilkins, of the Atlanta Hawks stars as Joe Ellis. Bea W. Bliss plays the role of Doris Ellis. The film is being made by Devine Communications Video & Film Production based in Atlanta, Georgia.
In the second half of the program host Demetrius Means and Jason Waddy, Sports Commentator of 101.7 Bay FM, will discuss the upcoming NFL season.
