Our guest Jennifer Chenoweth maps data from emotions using a geographic information system (GIS) and then translates these maps into art that allows us to visualize emotions in 3 dimensions.
Her art is creating a very nuanced way of expressing the world within us and how it connects with the world around us. Her Hedonic Map of Austin project focuses on the emotional connection of residents of Austin, Texas with their town. Austin, Texas is also the town Jennifer proudly calls home and this project is a devotional to this place that she feels so connected with.
