2017 Nissan Pathfinder - fifth generation SUV unveiled in Dallas

Introduced in 1987, the Nissan Pathfinder is still alive and well as a popular SUV.  Now, at the 30 year mark, Nissan unveiled their fifth generation edition of the Pathfinder at a gala media and dealer event at the Clyde Warren Park in downtown Dallas.

Noted automotive journalist ALAN GELL was present for the event and gives us his first impressions and observations of the event and the 2017 Nissan Pathfinder.

Gell took the photo immediately after the covering was pulled off.  The canoe was purchased locally and attached to the roof rails to show the versatility and capabilities of the Pathfinder.  The green shrubbery was part of a 'maze' to help everyone #FindYourNewPath and locate the new fifth generation SUV.
