Ron Rushing Candidate for U.S. Senate

Ron is a Christian, conservative Republican, family man, and a successful small business owner.  Ron has been married 22 years and has two teenage children.  His experience includes having to manage health benefits and retirement packages. Ron has a BS in Engineering from the University of Central Florida and a MS in Computer Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology.

Why Ron is Running for U.S. Senate?

America's children deserve the opportunity to implement their ideas and their dreams. Their future is more important than any elected official's political strategy.

I have decided that I will not sit around and pretend that nothing is wrong with America.  I refuse to wait for someone else to do what I know I can do myself.  I am adamant about implementing solutions that will restore America back to a leadership position that the world will honor, respect, and in some cases, even follow.

Why I am a Statesman?

I am a small businessman and not a career politician.  It is imperative that we elect principled, loyal citizens who have personally experienced the fundamental and complicated processes of a business. We must elect people that can identify the problems and develop solutions.

 I believe that we must halt the concept that only career politicians are qualified to lead the country.  We must return to the concept that our founding fathers intended; that "We the people…” Citizen Legislators, govern our great country, not career politicians."  I am a true citizen candidate that will work on real problems and implement real solutions.  I pledge that, while I am in office as your Senator, I will not accept a book deal, take a consulting job, or accept money to embark on a speaking tour.  These are just a few of the reasons that I consider myself to be a genuine Statesman.
