Lydia prides herself on being an elected official who stays open and accessible to her constituents and is an advocate for ethics and transparency in government.
• Born in Rhode Island, the oldest of six children, Lydia quickly learned that to stand out one had to work hard.  Her parents taught her the importance of honesty and integrity, urging her; in whatever she endeavored, to make a difference.  She settled in the Orlando area in 1982.
