Joe Guzzardi - National Media Director and spokesperson for CAPS.  Joe is a California native and an expert on the immigration issue.  He has been writing and giving interviews about immigration for more than 30 years. His columns have been published throughout California and are nationally syndicated. Joe learned most of what he knows about immigration on the front lines during his two-decades of teaching English as a Second Language in the California public school system.

Joe's radio experience includes the Lars Larsen Show (nationally syndicated), CBS radio (all affiliates), KQED, San Francisco, NPR on various national affiliates, and dozens of local talk shows in Boston, Providence, Los Angeles, etc. He has done at least 500 live interviews.

Joe is going to give us the facts on immigration including the hot topics for today - Sanctuary cities (and the threat of California becoming a sanctuary state), and to lesser degree employment-based visas and E-Verify as well as the multiple effects of legal and illegal immigration on population growth, the environment and our quality of life.
