Engineeer and Architechts be on notice - Autodesk, Adobe and Microsoft can audit your internal coroprate installations of Autocad software and make sure you have properly licensed, and are properly pahying for your companies usage of these companies software products.  Small to mid-size, and even large businesses in the archtiecture and engineering field are subject to a "voliuntary" (at risk of a federal copyright lawsuit) software audit if they are using unlicensed software.  The software companies and the BSA - the business software alliance - can find out about software infringement in many different ways.
