The Misadventures of Cowhead: Cowhead's Big Move

"Moving can be hard on anyone, so imagine what a young cow goes through when she moves to a new neighborhood!

The little calf named Cowhead must leave behind all her friends when she and her family move to a new neighborhood. This makes her sad and lonely; because she’s afraid she may not be able to make new friends. Cowhead meets mean Gloria Goose, who teases her about her large head. Then Cowhead meets Dee Dee Duck, who becomes the calf’s best friend. Dee Dee teaches Cowhead that it’s OK to be different. This story also shows kids that moving away and meeting new friends can be challenging, but can also be fun and quite wonderful."

The Misadventures of Cowhead: Cowhead’s Big Move is Charlene Peterson’s first children’s book. She is planning a series of Cowhead stories and other children’s books as well, all with a learning theme. Her young daughters’ antics motivated her to write the series and she envisions a plush doll to go with the books.
