Author's Den with your host Lizy Today international author Wyatt Allen

I was born and raised in a small town in South Florida, without
a father, or mother. I was raised by my grandmother with good
morals and ethics. I grew up in a humble home and struggled
through school while overcoming my challenges with dyslexia. I
taught myself how to read and write. And as a young man, I
dreamed of becoming a great writer sharing my imagination with
the world. However, I must admit; my books are not perfect,
because due to my limited funds, I have no choice but to do my
proofreading and editing once again something I continue to
struggle with trying to perfect. I was injured at the age of 18 while
working as a cook in a hotel in Florida. I had a dumpster lid hit me
in the head which caused nerve damage to the left side of my brain.
Therefore, I have been on a partial disability most of my life, once
again struggling with more challenges. However, I was able to
learn the skills of a carpenter and painter, trying to survive in this
financial challenging world. I consider myself a quiet man, not
exactly what you would call the life of the party. I try to write
from my heart, and usually have a message in my work. I would
like to reach people in many different ways not only on a spiritual
level but also on a caring and educational one.

However, I also know, for my work to appeal to the majority of
readers, there must be a little bit of everything in my books.
Therefore, I thrive to accomplish that very task. My books have a
lot of surprises, twists, and turns, that will keep you on the edge of
your seat. You know, a real page-turner.
