THE BRIDGE BETWEEN FAITH AND THE U.S. CONSTITUTION

It is often said by patriotic American citizens… “America is a Christian Nation”, however, the framers of the U.S. Constitution took great care to avoid being seen as a religious agency. While there are many allusions to spiritual ideals in the language of the declaration of independence and constitution, there is no basis for formally recognizing the nation as a Christian government.
