After being in Egypt, as a result of his lack of confidence in God, Abram suffered humiliation in Egypt because of his unbelief. It all started by doubting God which led him to leave his place of worship. He grew self-confident and one sin led to another. In the process he temporarily lost his wife and was rebuked by Pharoah. Imagine putting we as Christians in a position of being rebuked by an unbeliever. That is both embarrassing and humiliating.
