GENESIS 16-18 :: FROM ABRAM TO ABRAHAM :: FROM SERAI TO SARAH

Here is a moment in time where Abram’s temptation came from his wife Serai.  Eventually Abram would do the same thing that Adam did—abrogate his authority in the matter at hand and follow the misguided counsel of his wife.  It is also proper to note that Abram being a holy man was not driven in this situation by lust.  In fact, he did not even consider such a thing, but he was persuaded to act by the urging of his wife Serai just as Adam was persuaded by Eve to eat of the forbidden fruit.
