Deuteronomy 13:8-10 DEAL WITH SIN IN A RADICAL WAY

“you shall not yield to him or listen to him; and your eye shall not pity him, nor shall you spare or conceal himBut you shall surely kill him; your hand shall be first against him to put him to death, and afterwards the hand of all the people. 10So you shall stone him to death because he has sought to seduce you from the Lord your God who brought you out from the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery.”

          Sometimes it is the people who are closest to us that will entice us to disobey God.  My half-brother and some business customers who are Jehovah’s Witnesses tried to get me to visit one of their Kingdom Halls and see what they teach about God.  I already knew their teachings which denied the deity of Christ.  Proverbs 1:10 says, “My son, if sinners entice you,

Do not consent.”
