EPISODE 100 :: MATTHEW 27 THRU 28 :: JESUS ARRESTED, CRUCIFIED, RESURRECTED

MATTHEW 27:1-2  JESUS IS BOUND AND LED TO PONTIUS PILATE

            The Jewish religious wanted to put Jesus to death based on Him being God’s Son which they considered as blasphemy.  They could convict Him but the Romans would not allow them to put Him to death amd certainly not for blasphemy. 

            How did they deliver Him to Pontius Pilate could have been by locking Him in chains.  He was led down the street in chains, whereas earlier He came down the streets riding on a donkey as Israel’s King.  Quite a contrast.
