We R Listening Update

We R Listening's mission is to unlock the potential in every young girl they mentor.  They accomplish this by building their confidence and self-esteem and helping them to develop a positive perception of themselves so they can improve their interpersonal relationships, excel in academics and make the best life decisions.  We R Listening is a 501c3 non profit organizaton that mentors young women ages 13 to 22.  The program consists of a community group mentoring outreach program in schools, shelters, and at risk facilities and their e-mentoring program where they mentor young women virtually.  The mentors of We R Listening focus on personal development by incorporating a fun, interactive and well-rounded curriculum of workshops into the mentoring sessions while also providing friendship, support, and advice with personal experiences and challenges on topics such as school challenges, career guidance, relationship advice, financial matters, family issues, education and current events.
