Last week was the birthday of Taki S. Raton, one of the great MASTER TEACHERS of all times. He was a friend, teacher, advisor, brother, father and community leader for many people.

One of his many accomplishments was the creation, development and implementation of an education center, Blyden Delaney Academy. It operated for many years as an African centered “choice” school in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He understood the necessity of institutional building.

On this week’s broadcast of the Black Reality Think Tank, one of his former teachers, Shanny Bee will produce a tribute to his vision and work. Those who knew and worked with Bro. Raton realized he was dedicated and relentless in the fight to free the African Mind.

You can email us sankofa_brtt@gmail.com if you desire to give tribute.

The goal and objective of the Black Reality Think Tank are to study and understand the past, in order to dissect the present and support implementing a meaningful future.
