OGGI OGBURN is a well-noted entertainment photographer but he is least known for his classic photographs of, and work with, the great historian DR. CHANCELLOR WILLIAMS, who is author of the classic work: The Destruction of Black Civilization (1972). Beginning in 1975, Oggi Ogburn became an assistant to the then blind Dr. Williams and began documenting his work with rare photos and audio recordings. Ogburn will share the story of his relationship with Williams and offer a unique glimpse into the life of one of the most significant Black historians in the 20th century.
