Legendary scribe and sportscaster Dr. M. Lee "Doc" Stanley, takes to the airwaves once again with his renowned and legendary radio show, the award winning,"Sports In Depth".
Doc kicks off his first Black History Month special with a tribute to Muhammad Ali's legendary boxing trainer, friend and mentor, Angelo Dundee. Doc also salutes Don Cornelius,the man who brought to the world those soulful legendary words, "love, peace and soul," his famous closing to his legendary weekly music and dance soul show, "Soul Train".
Boxing historian and boxing hall of famer, Bert Sugar and this generation's number one boxing writer, the New York Daily News' Tim Smith are also featured. BCAP television Sports Director and the first African American to quarterback a football team in Staten Island high school football history, Mike Bellamy, along with Harold Weston Jr., MSG welterweight champion and only African-American matchmaker at famed Madison Square Garden, ride the trail with Doc and his famed sports posse. Doc remember the men who had a profound effect upon African-American history in America.
