Legendary scribe and sportscaster Dr. M. Lee "Doc" Stanley once again takes to the airwaves with his renowned and legendary radio show, the award winning,"Sports In Depth." Doc dedicates this show to his radio mentor and father figure, the legendary Hal Jackson, the Jackie Robinson of radio for African-Americans who recently passed. Hal was the first African-American in the radio and entertainment world who paved the way and opened doors for other entertainment personage. Hal was a generous and caring individual who cared for others, He cared about everyone, all America, not just African-Americans. He aided whomever needed the help and guidance. Jackson sowed many seeds outside of radio and entertainment. It was Hal Jackson who planted the seeds that brought America the holiday we now observe for his dear and close friend, the late Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Larry Hardesty, a friend of Doc and Jackson alike, joins Doc and the posse members in paying tribute and remembrance to the life of the legendary Mr. Hal Jackson who has left us too soon.
