Legendary scribe and sportscaster, Dr. M. Lee" Doc" Stanley once again takes to the airwaves with his renowned and legendary radio show,t he award winning,'Sports In Depth.' This show remembers three giants in the world of sports and entertainment.
Bert Randolph Sugar was one of the foremost authorities on boxing, an elected member to the Boxing Hall of Fame. He authored over 50 books on Boxing. During the show he talks about his friend Angelo Dundee, famed trainer of boxing legend, Muhammad Ali. Sugar authored Dundee's Biography,"My View From The Corner." With the book cover done by legendary artist, LeRoy Neiman.
The show also talks about Don Cornelius, the 'Soul Train' creator. The show pays tribute to both Dundee and Cornelius who passed on the same day. Weeks later, Sugar too passed.
