Dr Marion T. Lane is our guest today. Dr Lane is a retired teacher, school principal, special education director, and policy advisor to the Pennsylvania Department of Education Bureau of Special Education. Dr Lane is an author, lecturer, and an avid reader and researcher. Her two children's books explore the contributions of African-American Patriots in the American Revolutionary War and the interactions among Native Americans, Africans and early European settlers. Dr Lane is a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and Commander in Chief of the the Society of Decendants of Washingtons Army at Valley Forge.
