REAL TALK WITH AUTHOR TOYA WITHERSPOON

Bio: Toya D. Witherspoon is happily married to her husband Byron and is the mother of a beautiful and vibrant daughter.  She is also the Bonus Mother of 6 amazing young ladies.  Toya graduated from Saint Paul’s College in Lawrenceville, VA in May of 2001 and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice.  She later obtained her Master of Arts degree in Coaching and Athletic Administration in May of 2010 from Concordia University-Irvine.  

Toya and her husband were ordained Elders in October 2019 by Pastor Curtis and Lady Shameka Friday, the founders of The Love Church in Winston-Salem, NC.  Toya loves spending time in the Word of God and believes that her success is attributed to her belief in her Lord and Saviour Yeshua (better known as Jesus) coupled with her dedication to pursue excellence and work hard in everything she pursues. 

Toya enjoys reading, singing, laughing, spending time with friends and family and eating.  She is currently employed as a school teacher and loves to impact the lives of her students, and loves the positive impact her students have on her life as well.  Toya also has a heart to serve others and desires that everyone she encounters reaches their full potential and walks in their God-ordained destiny.
