This is the first offering by Branden Johnson on talk radio. The show plans to cover hot topics, social justice, and highlight the people. This is a place where you can call in and voice your mind. Branden is a community organizer and activist. Born in Quad City, Illinois, reared in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and now living in Longview, Texas, he has flavor that is sure to please your pallet. Branden looks forward to being a conduit of information to the people. He is a vessel, although cracked, is able to carry the situation room information into bedroom conversation. You should call in and listen or chime in. Young and old can expect to leave the table of discussion satisfied by the "Gumbo Mix" Chef Branden has prepared for your mind. Making time in your busy schedule is worth it. You will hit the pavement on Friday morning with hot water cooler topics to discuss from an angle very few see on any given day. No need to be shy, bring your flavor and season the pot. Our first guest ever will be Jerry Mitchell. Jerry is an investigative journalist who has been instrumental in finding the entire story behind several high and low profile crimes in the south, most notably in Mississippi. Jerry is a native of East Texas and the Gala speaker for the NAACP during the July 17th Scholarship Gala in Longview, Texas. With a new book in the works, several engagements pending, and news assignments in the works; we are grateful to have Jerry on with us this coming Thursday.
