A Women's Circle: Oh Yes She Can! Single Moms Raising Boys To Be Men

Invited guests will give listeners advise and resources on how to have the "sex talk" to finding funding for college. Mothers will learn how to teach their sons to: Be producitve, Be empathic, Be accountable,  Have integrity,  Values manliness, Encourage  growth, Promote independence, Nuture sense of adventure and more. This show will demostrate that a single mom can raise a boy to be a man. The evidence is unequivocall! Typically, many single female parent typically short-change themselves by rationalizing their son’s behavior by saying things like “Well, I’m just a single mom,” or “As a woman, I can’t teach my son how to be a man,” or “Boys will be boys and I just don’t know what to do with him.” Aboveall, raising a boy to be a man means teaching him responsibility.  Responsibility means commitment to oneself and one’s community.  It means that when a boy becomes a man, he is able to be responsible for himself and be willing to care for the people who are closest to him.
