Dominic Dominic, born and raised in Detroit, MI. His parents were members of the late Bishop Nemiah Smith church, Apostolic Faith Temple in Southfield, MI. He received the gift of the Holy Spirit in 1985 and quickly took to music. “I spent many Sunday nights at Greater Grace- Detroit; absorbing the concerts mashups of Commissioned, The Clark Sisters, The Winans, Rance Allen, Dr. Mattie Moss-Clark, Thomas Whitfield, Darrell Coley and so much more.

Douglas Payne of Phase 5 Records is an Ol Skool R&B label that started in Germantown Philly back in 1981. The Fox "Empire" tv series somehow came close to our image. Our original logo was the Empire State building, Terrance Howard could pass as my relative. On the show "Cookie" is his ex-wife, in real life "Cookie" is the sister of my wife.
