Tha Real
is a multi-talented artist from Brooklyn, New York. As a poet,
has been performing since the age of 19. He has 2 self published poetry books, won many poetry slams, rocked many open mics and been a feature at some of the dopest events in the NYC area. He also produced spoken word events since 2010. He recently concluded his residency at the world famous Nuyorican poets.
He describes his style of poetry as "a mixture of feeling, passion and humor with a shot of education and self reflection... to me poetry is not just reciting words, it's a conversation, a conversation to spark thought or simply to vent...it's therapy for both the poet and the listener"...
