My guests for May are Ellen Kirschman and Bonita Sevedge.
People call Ellen Kirschman the cop doc. She’s been a clinical psychologist far longer than she’s been a mystery writer. Ellen’s specialty is treating first responders, cops and fire fighters who are suffering with work-related traumatic stress.
She started her writing career with non-fiction and is still at it. Along the way she has earned awards from The California Psychological Association for Distinguished Contribution to Psychology and the American Psychological Association for Outstanding Contribution to Police and Public Safety Psychology.
Ellen is a transplanted New Yorker and has been living in Northern California since the summer of love. When she’s not writing, teaching, or volunteering as a clinician at the First Responders Support Network, she’s at the gym, in the kitchen, or traveling.
Bonita Sevedge is a digital illustrator living in Santa Maria, CA.
