Tune in on Thursday, February 25, 2021 to Books and Entertainment Tales from the Pages to hear unique poet Oliver Baer. He has worked as an editor of the Cthulu Sex Magazine and Two Backed BooksSeveral of his poems have been put to music by musicians who were drawn to his work. His CD of poetry set to music came out in 2013. This has spurred a music show that has been performed biannually since 2014. He has work in many different places. His books include: Baer Soul, Letters to the Editor of the Cthulu Sex Magazine, and he is in numerous anthologies. His poetry has appeared in Goodreads Best Poems 2020, The Brooklyn Rail, Birds Fall Silent in the Mechanical Sea, Boog City, Danse Macabre, Dream People, Bare Bone, Infernal Ink Magazine, Cthulhu Sex Magazine, Horror Between the Sheets and Horror Writers Association Poetry Showcase Vol. II as well as other publications. His essays have appeared in Axel: Metal Messiah, Underground Jeweler and The History of the Wu Tang Physical Culture Association: 1979-2004 as well as on April Grey's blog and Writing in Darkness. His short stories have appeared in Goodreads: Best Short Stories 2019 and three of April Grey's Hell's anthology series. For Valentine's Day Hell's Mall just came out in this series. As you can see this will be a very unusual show you won't want to miss. As aways there might be a few surprises. Several of Oliver Baer's pieces will be played during the show.
