Show focus covers current brain injury issues and some solultions  SSDI SSA Stimulas checks options,Corona virus & life adjutsments.isuues Guest is Grace Arnold Arthur.  Grace received her Bachelor's Degree in Social Work from the University of Georgia in 1996 and her Master's Degree in Professional Counseling in 2012.  She has worked in the realm of social services since 1996 starting with adults with various developmental challenges, then moving to Public Health and has been with Prevent Child Abuse Athens since 2000.  She is a Clinical Supervisor for staff that conduct home visits to a variety of families with young children.  Her primary focus is early home visiting and she provides reflective supervision for staff to process the work that they do.  In addition she has taught parenting classes for families living in the Athens, GA area since 2004.  While her primary focus is on families and children, Grace became interested in brain trauma after a family member suffered two brain injuries.  The term, Traumatic Brain Injury, though more well known now, was not something she had learned about in school and so she felt the need to research and find resources for this family member as well as learn what a TBI can mean in the life of a loved one.  In this sense, Grace can speak to a family's role in supporting their loved one through a brain trauma as well as that of a social service professional who is trying to figure out where to start.  She is a mother of two wonderful children and a recent grandmother!
