** SPECIAL EPISODE**

Those who know Charlotte Canion view her as a go-to-person, an individual they can turn to whenever there is a problem that needs solving. And she has discovered that one of the best ways to do that is through laughter.

Charlotte Canion is described as larger than life. Aside from managing women as models, controlling Several businesses, working in Event Planning for a large corporation, she gardens professionally (as a certified Texas Master Gardener,) she volunteers her time to teach gardening and has won many awards in the gardening arena.

She is CEO of a startup business, intent on selling a product she invented. One of her unique accomplishments, for us brain injured individuals, is as a creative writer who has penned and published several stories and poems. Her most recent book is _Sparks - Ignite your way to success_.

She writes of inspiriation, which she learned from the experience assisting her own parents with dementia, Alzheimer's and Parkinson's disease, while battling and overcoming cancer. Learning how to deal with these unique stresses is what fuels her success.

A past books includes _You Have To Laugh To Keep From Crying/ How to Parent your parents_, This advice is something we all need (brain-injured or not). She is happy to share her experiences with the world and hopes that her stories might ease the pain that many will endure, tempering the most difficult times with laughter.

She speak to caregivers, helping them to survive the tough and thankless task before them. She offers help in a pamphlet (associated with her book)  to build and reinforce happy memories by remembering to find humor during an otherwise arduous and often overwhelming end of life journey. Remember when someone you love is gone -- all you will have left are memories, so make them cherished ones.
