From Tragedy to Triumph with Pastor Anthony White

Pastor White was headed to be a Major League Professional Baseball Player but God had magnificent plans for him.

Born in Kansas City, Missouri, Anthony R. White is a proud son, father, grandfather, and Pastor. His calling to work with “Troubled and Emotionally Disturbed Youth” as a counselor for over 15 years; has offered many opportunities for Pastor White to make a dramatic change in his community. His outlet was coaching youth basketball and baseball teams to help keep them in a positive programs. Sadly, tragedy hit when his brother was murdered in 1993. This allowed Anthony to reflect within and later become the Founder/ Director in 1995-1998 for the STOP THE VIOLENCE YOUTH PROGRAM " In Memory Of Kenny White Kansas City, Mo. S.T.V.Y. Program resumed in Oklahoma from 2005-2006.

He answered a divine calling from God to preach in 2002 and preached his 1st sermon on March 17, 2002 and eventually falling God’s path to Pastor August 2009 to present the Great Commission Outreach Ministry Church which originated in Oklahoma in 2005 as an Outreach Ministry.
