Today we take a historical view of House Jacking by taking a look at the Salem Witch Trials. One of the primary tools to do a land grab is to first "legally" demonize the property owner.

Today this is done by accusing a property owner as a home owner who has code enforcement issues, a slum landlord, or just simply falsely accusing a real estate owner as "abandoning" their property. These are all "ruses" which is one of the first red flags that a property owner needs to be aware of that you have a sociopath or psychopath who has a "legal agenda" to steal your house.
