This is the start of a series on Black Towns with Professor Rhonda Ragsdale. She will give us us an over all glimpse into history, which is the existence of Black Townships in the Americas

Mayor Leila Davis who is the Mayor of Taft, Oklahoma, which is an HBT (historical black township) will give us the history of Taft.  Mayor Davis is the first African American woman to be elected mayor of a city in the United States.
