Many home owners or owners of any type of real estate lose their properties via a "hostile takeover". Hostile takeovers that involve real estate holdings can take place in many ways. Some legal, some illegal including some tactics that are violent in nature. All property owners should be aware of these methods and all people considering purchasing any type of real estate should be aware of all of the various ways that someone or even the government will attempt to take your real estate by hostile means.
