Adverse Possession - A Thing Between Neighbors

Adverse Possession is one of the most mis-understood concepts in real estate today. Many people THINK they can enter into a property which (they consider) abandoned and then proceed to set up house. They then think that if they can stay in the property so many years that they can then become the "legal owners" via "Adverse Possession".
