The Black Towns Social Movement was founded primarily by former slaves and it was a successful movement, because several townships were established and several of those communities still exist today. However the Honorable Marcus Garvey who had up to 2,000,000 followers, but the Black Star Line venture never got off the ground and the membership reduced with no "business system" in place.
Today on "It's My House" we shall discuss the distinctions between the Black Towns Social Movement and Marcus Garvey, so that we can learn lessons on how we can build and protect an organization.
