The 76ers swept the Celtics behind a flurry of Ben Simmons baskets, including five straight points on an and-one before a steal off Marcus Smart into a dunk that turned a one-possession game into an eight point lead with four minutes left. The Celtics competed behind another career night from Jaylen Brown, who scored 42 points, and strong contributions from Kemba Walker and Marcus Smart next to him. Brad Stevens called out the late game execution and miscues though, including allowing 42 points in the third quarter and struggling on defense.
