The family of Bobby L. Gadsden seeks answers as to why Bobby was shot and killed by a homeowner who says he was burglarizing his home. The Moncks Corner Police Department says the homeowner, Cecil Barwick will not face charges because of the South Carolina law called the "castle doctrine." However, the family feels this law does not apply in this case. The family contends Bobby L. Gadsden was not shot and killed to prevent loss of life, prevent great bodily harm or protect property. They state had the Moncks Corner Police Dept done a thorough investigation it would have shown that. We revealed the following information during this show, played the audio from the 911 tape, as well as read the full police report and official statement released by the police dept. Attached below is an edited version of what South Carolina law calls the castle doctrine. My guests were Tyler Williams, Zoe Spencer and Wanda Bull.
