On tonight's segment of "Let's Talk Fort Worth" we will be giving the mayor and city council a report card for their job performances so far. We want to look at whether or not they have done their jobs well enough to be getting big raises. Mayor Mattie Parker is asking that her pay be increased to half of the average annual base-rate salary for a city department head. The city council is asking that their pay be increased to half of the average annual base-rate salary for an assistant city department head. These raises would go into effect October 1, 2022. The current mayor's salary is $29,000 a year and the city council's pay is $24,000 a year.
