Kurt sits down with ‘The Statement’ Andruew Tang, Singapore's first professional wrestler!

Following on from the interview’s with Malaysian Pro Wrestling’s Shaukat and Hong Kong Pro Wrestling Founder Ho Ho Lun, I am now joined by the 1st wrestler from Singapore, the owner of Singapore Pro Wrestling ‘The Statement’ Andruew Tang.

We talk about what inspired him to pursue professional wrestling despite his family wanting him to pursue over professions, creating Singapore Pro Wrestling and turning it into one of the top promotions in South-East Asia. The academy of SPW was discussed and the rise of his students Trexus and Alexis Lee and the recent WWE tryouts, including advice from WWE’sMatt Bloom.

Tang spoke about the importance of working with other companies and the relationships he’s built with OWE and other companies.

Also discussed is his experience in Japan, working NJPW, the advice Emi Sakura has given him over the years and being in the ring with Pete Dunne, CIMA and Kenny Omega and what he learnt from those matches.

And much more.
