Dr. Kristal McGreggor is a member of the Sport Management Adjunct Faculty at Jackson College in Michigan.  

Dr. McGreggor recently graduated from the University of Michigan, School of Kinesiology with her Ph.D. in Sport Management, May 2020. Her dissertation was titled, “An Ethnographic Exploration of the Culture of Sport Consumption at a Historically Black College/University: Elucidations of Blackness.” Her research is based on a multi-discipline, multi-theory approach to examining the cultural dynamics of the HBCU sport experience. She holds a certificate in African American and Diasporic Studies from the Department of African American Studies and a certificate in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion from Rackham Graduate College. During her time at Michigan, she served as the HBCU Alliance Liaison within the School of Kinesiology, where she actively supported the department’s diversity initiatives.
