Erika Fernandez, or CurlsandSports as known on these social media streets, is in her 9th year as a sports journalist. Following her graduation from Fordham (go Rams!), she was working 9-5’s during the day to support her dreams and then going to work at night covering NYC teams such as the Liberty, the Knicks, the Nets, both the Giants and Jets, boxing events, and various entertainment events in the NYC area. She still doesn’t know how she did it.

Her latest venture includes her solo podcast, The Curls and Sports Podcast with Erika Fernandez. Currently, she's working for The Sporting News as a Senior Social Producer. You can always count on her to send you a funny meme and talk about anything that’s trending while educating herself on the subject matter.
